LifeBook Memoirs ghostwriter Keith

In this video, LifeBook Memoirs ghostwriter Keith reflects on how a lifelong career in writing led him to private memoir and autobiography work and why it has become such a meaningful part of what he does.

With experience spanning fiction, journalism, academia, and education, Keith explains that storytelling has always been at the heart of his career. What drew him to LifeBook Memoirs was the opportunity to help other people shape their memories into something lasting and deeply personal. Four years and many projects later, Keith talks about the collaborative process behind each LifeBook, describing how interviewers, ghostwriters, editors, project managers, and designers work together to bring each story to life. He explains how the team helps authors uncover overlooked memories, fill in gaps, and recognize that even the parts of life that seem ordinary to them can be fascinating to future generations.

Keith also speaks candidly about the responsibility of capturing someone’s voice on the page. Even as an experienced writer, he says there is always a moment of nerves when a draft goes back to the author for the first time. But again and again, the most rewarding part of the process is hearing that it feels true to them.

For Keith, there is little more satisfying than helping people preserve their stories in a way that sounds like them and can be treasured by the people they love.
