Working as an interviewer for LifeBook Memoirs is a profound privilege. My author, Brian, and I share working-class Welsh roots, and that helped create an instant bond between us. However, it was Brian’s unwavering devotion to his wife, despite her severe disability, that truly touched my heart. His story moved me deeply, and we have forged a lifelong friendship. I’m truly honored to have contributed to sharing his remarkable journey.
