John Franklin

Many of our authors are kind enough to visit us either during their private autobiography project or after its completion, and we always look forward to hearing their feedback about process and product. We were, therefore, delighted to receive a visit from LifeBook author John Franklin. John had worked with LifeBook Memoirs’ bespoke service to complete a manuscript into which he had put many years of hard work.

Whilst LifeBook autobiographies are typically around 160 pages long, with about 60 photographs, John’s autobiography ran to 608 pages and included numerous photographs, letters, and documents, making it our biggest-ever LifeBook. This beautiful large-format book with a custom-designed cover was completed in just five months.

Here is what John had to say:

It is amazing what the end product has turned out to be—something that LifeBook Memoirs can feel very proud of! I must say a big “thank you” to my project manager, Caroline, for the great effort and professionalism that she brought to the process of making my tome the fine end product that it is.

John’s LifeBook, The Weaver and His Crinoline Lady, was completed in 2024.
